My Story
Hannah K. Holman is a Minnesota-based interdisciplinary maker, social practice artist, theater collaborator, and creative consultant working in communities of all shapes and sizes -- rural, remote, urban, and suburban. She is deeply invested in conversation, community, and connection. Hannah was named "Performing Arts Administrator of the Year" in 2018 by Twin Cities Arts Reader. // Currently: Producing Artistic Director of Umbrella Collective -- collaborating to create new works of theater that foster vital conversations; Program Manager for the Minnesota Theater Alliance -- supporting, connecting, and advocating for the statewide performing arts community; Board Member & Collaborator with Public Transformation -- highlighting, connecting, and supporting rural-based artists and arts organizations working at the intersection of creativity and community; Project Manager for the Rural Arts & Culture Summit with Springboard for the Arts -- a biennial, practitioner-driven gathering that celebrates and expands the field of rural arts-based community development.
